LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said his party will achieve real freedom through a completely constitutional and democratic struggle.
Speaking to a delegation of journalists at his home in Zaman Park after attending a meeting, the former premier said that “I know their [incumbent government] plans, but I am planning ahead.”
The former premier held a meeting with party’s central and provincial officials, wherein he handed over targets for preparations of the ‘biggest’ public march in Rawalpindi.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said that he has no issue with whoever is appointed as the next army chief, and there will be a surprise for everyone on November 26.
He gave a special task to the party leaders and workers to make sure good arrangements for the success of his scheduled long march at Rawalpindi on Nov 26.
Imran Khan said the real freedom movement is standing at a decisive point and all the attempts to suppress the demand for real freedom by oppression and fascism have proved unsuccessful.
Imran Khan said he will lead the largest gathering in history on November 26 and people from all walks of life will be welcomed in Rawalpindi.
The PTI chairman said political awareness is on the rise and the nation is fully mobilized for getting its real freedom and rights.
He also instructed his party leaders to prepare the caravans from all over the country and arrange the means of travel.
He added that efforts are being made to conduct clean and transparent elections as soon as possible; there is no solution to the country’s problems except for snap polls.
The PTI chief said that messages have been sent to me through President Arif Alvi, adding that talks will take place only after the date given for early elections.
“The whole world is aware of their [incumbent rulers] corruption stories. Even after using the entire state machinery against me, they could not find anything except the watch, and I am going to court over the watch issue,” he said.
“The ‘Azadi March’ was standing at a decisive point. Political awareness is on the rise, the nation is fully mobilized for real freedom and its rights”, he added.
He directed the party officials to prepare caravans from all over the country and arrange the means of travel. “We will achieve real freedom through the constitutional and democratic struggle,” he added.
Earlier, Imran Khan called on his party workers and supporters to reach Rawalpindi on November 26. He asked the party workers and supporters to reach Rawalpindi between 1-2 pm. “I will meet you there,” he added.
