Islamabad:Col (retd) Mirza Momin Baig appointed as Chairman Fisheries and Livestock, Sindh Government issues official notification ​In a major administrative change, the Sindh Government has appointed Col (retd) Mirza Momin Baig as Chairman Fisheries and Livestock. According to a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD) on December 2, 2025, this appointment has been made with the approval of the Sindh Chief Minister and in the light of the recommendations of the Provincial Selection Board. ​The notification has clarified that this appointment of Col (retd) Mirza Momin Baig has been made on contract basis for a period of five years which will be effective immediately. Copies of the notification in this regard have been sent to all concerned authorities including the Establishment Division Islamabad, Principal Secretaries to the Governor and Chief Minister Sindh, Administrative Secretaries and Accountant General Sindh to ensure immediate implementation of this decision.
