Islamabad : There has been great progress in oil and gas exploration in the country. Additional oil and gas reserves were discovered in Sindh. OGDCL with the help of cutting edge technology discovered additional oil and gas reserves in the districts of Tando Allahyar, Sanghar and Hyderabad in Sindh. A total of one crore. 59 lakh cubic feet of additional gas reserves were discovered. 2 thousand 665 barrels of oil per day have been found from three wells in the three districts, while 51 metric tons of LPG per day are also being obtained. 585 barrels of additional oil per day in Tando Allahyar Sindh 74 lakh cubic feet of gas and 32 tonnes per day of LPG are being produced. 1810 barrels per day of additional oil are being recovered from the well at Pisakhi Hyderabad. Sanghar is exporting 140 barrels of oil per day, 4.7 million cubic meters of gas and 11 tons of LPG per day.
130 barrels of additional oil, 3.8 million cubic meters of gas and 8 tonnes of LPG per day are being recovered from Chak South well in Sanghar.
