Another special meeting of cabinet will be held today

ISLAMABAD (web News) - Another special meeting of cabinet will be held today (Tuesday) as the three-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan is scheduled to announce verdict in the election delay case, Dunya News reported. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting. The meeting will be held at the Parliament House at 1:00pm. According to sources, overall political situation in the country will come under discussion during the meeting. Sources also informed that the agenda of the meeting will be released later. Earlier on Monday, PM Shehbaz presided over a special cabinet meeting during which the withdrawal of the services of Registrar Supreme Court Ishrat Ali was approved. The federal cabinet had also approved funds of Rs 71 billion under Rekodic dispute settlement. The funding of the Rekodic project will be done for the Balochistan government. Also, Rs 65 billion will be arranged under the short-term financial facility for Recodek, and Rs 6 billion 24 crores will be arranged for interest payment. Funds will be arranged for the period from March 31 to December 30, 2023.
