ISLAMABAD (WEB News) – National Accountability Burea (NAB) arrested former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Tuesday in Ql-Qadir Trust case.
Saifullah Niazi said that the PTI chief was arrested from Islamabad High Court premises.
He was shifted to NAb Rawalpindi office. Police team was asisted by Pakistan Rangers personnel. .
PTI lawyer Faisal Chaudhry confirmed the development.
PTI Vice President Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that the IHC had been “occupied by the Rangers” and lawyers “are being subjected to torture”.
“Imran Khan’s car has been surrounded,” he added.
