RAWALPINDI: In a recent counterterrorism operation in the general area of Jani Khel, Bannu District, a fierce firefight erupted between armed forces and terrorists. The operation resulted in the elimination of two terrorists, thanks to the effective engagement of the troops.
Tragically, amidst the intense exchange of fire, two brave soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice. Naib Subedar Ghulam Murataza, a 40-year-old resident of District Bahawalpur, and Havildar Muhammad Anwar, a 41-year-old resident of District Sialkot, fought gallantly and embraced martyrdom.
The armed forces of Pakistan have swiftly responded to the incident by initiating the sanitization of the area. This thorough operation aims to eliminate any remaining terrorists present in the vicinity.
