Islamabad,  Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad has announced the results of the 2023 Class 9th and 10th annual exams. The passing percentage of class 10 was 89.61% While the passing percentage in Class IX has been 65.28.
Addressing the ceremony on this occasion, Federal Minister of Education Rana Tanveer Hussain said that I am happy that after assuming the responsibility as a federal minister, the duties I assigned to my team were duly completed with positive results. It is our success that Pakistani talented children have made their place in the world today.
Today, other countries of the world are taking help from our education boards. I congratulate our brilliant children who have succeeded. It is a good decision that the passing percentage of metric is being increased to 40% from next year. Chairman Federal Education Board Qaiser Alam said in his address that today we are announcing the annual results for the year 2023 together for the first time.
Chairman Education Board said that in the last one and a half years an unstoppable series of reforms and improvements began. The federal minister gave us the target and after that he kept taking regular reviews on the given target. It is the commitment of the federal minister that the number of out-of-school children is decreasing today. For the first time in the country’s history, an endowment fund has been established for education.
The Federal Minister has many favors on the Federal Board. As long as there is no quality in our education, we will not be able to compete with the world. With the efforts of the Federal Minister of Education, the Federal Board will reach an agreement with Cambridge today. The Federal Board will set the Urdu paper for Hong Kong children from next year. This time we have prepared the result in twenty to twenty five days. This time also we made our results through e-marking. Chairman Federal Education Board Qaiser Alam congratulated the children who got position in matriculation.
