Islamabad (Staff Reporter) The Building Control Section of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) along with the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday with the support of the District Administration and Islamabad Police, against building by-laws on the expressway in Islamabad area. Taking strict action on the violation, many commercial buildings were closed for violation of building by-laws. Actions have been taken on the expressway for violation of building by-laws and notices have been issued to the owners of 5 buildings which were being constructed with the approval of CDA. Notices were also given to the owners of 13 buildings for non-conforming use. On this occasion, the CDA administration said that the anti-encroachment campaign will continue continuously to make Islamabad an encroachment-free city. It should be noted that for the past several months, CDA has been busy conducting operations on illegal encroachments, illegal constructions and violation of building bylaws in the federal capital.
