ISLAMABAD (Staff Reporter) Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan Dr. Raza Amiri Mughdam on Friday met Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Malik Amjad Zubair Tawana at FBR Headquarters Islamabad in which Member (Admin), Member Customs (Operations) And senior FBR officials were present. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues related to customs, effective border management and smooth flow of cross-border trade between the two countries, especially through the Mirjave-Taftan crossing point. The parties also discussed the possibility of installing more gates at the Mir Jawa-Taftan crossing point to ensure smooth movement of cross-border trade and pilgrims. The Iranian ambassador said that the activation of the Ramadhan-Gabad crossing point can further increase the bilateral trade between the two countries. The parties also agreed to further increase the trade between the two brotherly countries.
