JACOBABAD: U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, marked a significant milestone in the partnership between the United States and Sindh, as he inaugurated the Government High School Adam Khan Panhwar on Tuesday. This inauguration event celebrated the completion of the 100th school under the USAID’s Sindh Basic Education Program, a testament to the collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the educational landscape in the region.
The U.S. government, through the USAID’s Sindh Basic Education Program, has been actively involved in constructing 106 modern schools across ten districts of Sindh, including Jacobabad. These efforts are crucial, especially in the aftermath of last year’s devastating floods, which severely impacted the educational infrastructure and disrupted learning for many children.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Blome expressed his delight in being part of this transformative initiative. He emphasized the resilience of the community and reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to supporting the region’s progress.
