Islamabad (Staff Reporter) The anti-encroachment operation is going on in full force under the direction of the Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Captain (Rtd) Anwar-ul-Haq. In this regard, the Enforcement Directorate, with the support of other departments, conducted a mega operation on Wednesday against the long-standing illegal Afghan settlement near Nast University Sector I-12/2, in which hundreds of rooms were cleared using heavy machinery. And several cattle sheds were demolished. As a result of this operation, 250 kanals of land were transferred and handed over to the development sector in order to speed up the development work. Moreover, with the support of the district administration and Islamabad Police, Margalla Town Phase Two near the Agricultural Development Bank plot where for a long time An illegal Afghan settlement was established. Dozens of houses and cattle sheds were demolished using heavy machinery and government land was confiscated. Apart from this, in the light of public complaints from the area of Colonel Sher Khan Avenue Mandi Mor, the road was cleared by taking full action against encroachments on both sides of the road and 6 truckloads of goods were also seized by the government.
