ISLAMABAD: In a successful start to the auction organized by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the first day saw the sale of four plots, generating a total of 7.796 billion rupees. The competitive bidding process attracted a significant number of investors, indicating robust interest in Islamabad’s real estate market.
According CDA, Blue Area’s Plot No. 9 sold for 4.453 billion rupees on the first day of the three-day auction.
Whereas, I-8 sector witnessed notable sales with Plot No. 53H and Plot No. 53F fetching 1 billion 46 crore rupees and 1 billion 15 crore rupees, respectively.
Furthermore, I-14 sector’s Plot No. 9A was acquired for 653 million rupees.
The auction of commercial plots is set to continue at Ghandhara Center, F-9 Park, until January 12, 2024. Various categories of commercial plots in Islamabad’s developed commercial centers are being presented for investment.
The auction proceedings are under the supervision of the Auction Committee, headed by a CDA member finance and facilitated by the Secretary, Director State Management-II. Committee members include representatives from Estate, Planning and Design, Technology and Digitization, DFA-II, DG LA, Director Urban Planning, Director Regional Planning, Director Public Relations, and Director Finance.
The auction of commercial plots will proceed at Ghandhara States and Center, F-9 Park, Islamabad, on January 11 and 12, 2024.
Following a thorough examination, the received bids will be presented before the CDA board, the authorized forum for accepting or rejecting bids.
