RAWALPINDI: In a proactive move, Pakistan executed targeted strikes in the early hours of Thursday against terrorist hideouts within Iran believed to be linked to recent attacks in Pakistan. The military operation utilized a combination of killer drones, rockets, loitering munitions, and stand-off weapons, with meticulous efforts to minimize collateral damage.
Code-named ‘Marg Bar Sarmachar,’ the intelligence-based operation successfully targeted hideouts used by Balochistan Liberation Army and Balochistan Liberation Front. Notable terrorists, including Dosta (Chairman), Bajjar (Soghat), Sahil (Shafaq), Asghar (Basham), and Wazir (Wazi), were among those struck.
Emphasizing an unwavering commitment to safeguarding citizens from terrorism, the Pakistan Armed Forces asserted their perpetual state of readiness. The statement underscored the resolve to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against any threats.
Expressing determination to overcome adversaries, the ISPR report called for future engagement through dialogue and cooperation to address bilateral issues between Pakistan and Iran, emphasizing the importance of fostering collaboration between the neighboring brotherly nations.
