RAWALPINDI: In a recent counterterrorism operation, security forces in Balochistan successfully thwarted three coordinated attacks launched by terrorists in the Mach and Kolpur areas. The operation, initiated in response to multiple terrorist incidents on January 29th and 30th, resulted in the elimination of nine terrorists, including three suicide bombers.
Tragically, ISPR said four brave members of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) made the ultimate sacrifice, embracing martyrdom during the intense exchange of fire. Additionally, two civilians lost their lives during the counterterrorism operation. The incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by security forces in their relentless pursuit of maintaining peace and security in the nation.
Expressing solidarity, Pakistan’s Security Forces stand united with other LEAs, emphasizing their unwavering commitment in the fight against terrorism. The situation is still unfolding, with security forces maintaining a vigilant stance to safeguard the region from further threats. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the complexities and risks involved in ensuring peace and stability in the country.
