Ashgabat, Turkmenistan: In commemoration of Pakistan’s 85th National Day, the Embassy of Pakistan in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, hosted a grand reception at Pakistan House. The event attracted a diverse audience including Turkmen government officials, prominent business leaders, members of the Pakistani community residing in Turkmenistan, and officials from the Pakistan Embassy.
Ambassador Ahsan Wagan, in his address, underscored the sacrifices of Pakistan’s founding fathers in securing a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Subcontinent. He emphasized the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Turkmenistan, noting Pakistan’s status as one of the first countries to recognize Turkmenistan and establish an embassy in Ashgabat.
The Ambassador also acknowledged the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora to Pakistan’s economic growth and development, urging them to continue promoting bilateral relations. The reception served as a platform for meaningful exchanges and interactions among dignitaries, facilitating discussions on enhancing bilateral relations and fostering collaborations across various sectors. Guests were treated to the renowned flavors of Pakistani cuisine, adding to the celebration of the rich cultural heritage shared between Pakistan and Turkmenistan.
