LAHORE: In a poignant farewell message, the outgoing Director-General of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and Commissioner Lahore, Mr. Ch. Mohammad Ali Randhawa expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their unwavering dedication during his action-packed tenure.
Reflecting on the achievements of the past year, the DG highlighted the collaborative efforts that led to the revival of @TEPALDALAHORE, a significant milestone in resolving traffic congestion issues. Working closely with @ctplahore, @McLahore, @DCLahore, and @commissionerlhr, the LDA tackled road infrastructure challenges head-on.
Despite facing an extraordinary rainy season, wasa, under the umbrella of Authority, performed exceptionally well, ensuring uninterrupted services for the citizens of Lahore.
The DG credited Caretaker Chief Minister for his hands-on monitoring and guidance, which kept the LDA team focused and productive. He expressed satisfaction that the LDA had surpassed expectations, delivering outstanding results and earning the trust of its leadership.
Acknowledging the support of Chief Secretary Punjab, the DG thanked them for the opportunity to lead and serve the people of Lahore.
The outgoing DG listed an impressive array of completed projects, including the construction of underpasses, flyovers, sports complexes, and the digitalization of records. Notable achievements also include the possession of plots in the long-awaited LDA City, the progress on the Ravi Bridge, and the revitalization of the Architecture Directorate.
The revamping of town planning wings resulted in record revenue collection, showcasing the LDA’s commitment to efficient governance and fiscal responsibility.
As the DG bids farewell to his role, his message serves as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire LDA team, whose collective efforts have significantly contributed to the development and progress of Lahore.
