Officers from relevant departments attended the meeting. Chairman CDA was briefed that the scanning and indexing of records will be completed within two months. Additionally, the project will include the digitization of maps.

Chairman CDA was informed that the digitalization process will also include the entry and correction of historical records. This will help address complaints of fraud and forgery. The public will gain access to their property records, which will be linked to the NADRA system.

GIS mapping will also be implemented. Furthermore, overseas Pakistanis will be able to check the status of properties before engaging in buying or selling transactions.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa expressed confidence that the digitalization of property records will significantly enhance transparency and efficiency in property transactions.
