8th martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani today

SRINAGAR (Web Desk) – Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and elsewhere in the world are observing the eighth martyrdom anniversary of young freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani today (Monday) with the renewed pledge to continue the mission of martyrs.Illegally detained Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Masarat Alam Butt has paid tributes to Shaheed Burhan Wani and his associates on their martyrdom anniversary.In his message on martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani from Tihar Jail, he urged the Kashmiris to organize protest rallies, seminars and other programmes to pay tributes to Burhan Wani and his companions, who lit the candle of Kashmir’s freedom movement with their blood.The APHC Chairman said that Burhan Wani was a symbol of fear for imperialist India and a role model for the people of Kashmir, especially the youth, who sacrificed his life for the Kashmir cause.In Azad Kashmir, protest rallies will be taken out in all districts by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Commission, Pasban-e-Hurriyat other Hurriyat organizations.In Muzaffarabad, a protest rally will be taken out from Burhan Muzaffar Wani Chowk.
