CTD arrests two TTP terrorists in Karachi

KARACHI (Dateline News)  The Counter Terrorism Department on Friday arrested two terrorists of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). According to the CTD, both militants were linked with Gul Bahadur Group of the TTP.The CTD Spokesperson said that operation was conducted in Janjal Goth area where two terrorists, belonging to Waziristan named Abuzar and Yaqoob Masood were arrested.CTD Director General Asif Ejaz Sheikh said that the arrested terrorists were in contact with the TTP leadership operating from Afghanistan through social media to collect funding for the terror outfit.According to Police, terrorists had recently come back from Afghanistan after funding operation, adding that funds had been recovered from them.
