Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has paid rich tributes to Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ramzan and Punjab Constabulary personnel Imtiaz, Jahangir, and Tariq, who embraced martyrdom during the dacoits’ attack in Kacha Machka, Rahim Yar Khan. Dr. Usman Anwar said that Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ramzan and Constabulary personnel Imtiaz, Jahangir, and Tariq fought valiantly and embraced martyrdom with bravery in the line of duty. He emphasized that the Punjab Police will never forget the indelible sacrifices of its brave personnel. Dr. Usman Anwar said that police officers and personnel sacrificed their lives while ensuring the protection of the public’s lives and properties. He saluted the courage and bravery of the personnel and paid tribute to their families. IG Punjab added that all the martyrs confronted dangerous criminals with exceptional courage and bravery. He assured that the police will bring the bandits and criminals in the kacha area to justice under all circumstances. IG Punjab said that no effort would be spared in ensuring the best welfare of the martyrs’ families.According to details, the funeral prayers for the four police personnel, including the Sub-Inspector martyred in the Kacha Machka police encounter, were offered at the Sadiq Shaheed Police Lines Rahim Yar Khan. Funeral prayer was attended by Additional IG South Punjab Kamran Khan, RPO Bahawalpur Rai Babar Saeed, DPO Imran Ahmad Malik, DPO Rajanpur Dost Muhammad, the martyrs’ families, police officers and personnel, political and social figures, and a large number of members of civil society. Punjab Police spokesperson said that an elegant police squad paid tribute to the martyrs’ bodies with a salute and floral wreaths. Spokesperson Punjab Police also mentioned that five dacoits were killed and four injured in the Kacha area police encounter. Three Punjab Constabulary personnel, Imtiaz, Jahangir, and Tariq, were also martyred in the cowardly attack by the dacoits. The bodies of the martyrs have been sent to their native areas for burial with full honors.IG Punjab remarked that police officers and personnel sacrificed their lives while ensuring the protection of the public’s lives and property. Additional IG South Punjab Kamran Khan noted that the martyrs faced dangerous criminals with exceptional courage and bravery. RPO Bahawalpur Rai Babar Saeed emphasized that the families of the martyrs are the responsibility of the police department, which will attend to their needs with the utmost care. DPO Rahim Yar Khan Imran Ahmad Malik assured that the police will confront the Kacha criminals with increased strength and effective strategic planning.
