Lahore:The news regarding the personnel of Punjab Constabulary disembarking early from the PC headquarters and not reporting for duty in Kacha is baseless and contrary to facts, according to the Punjab Police Spokesperson. All personnel have now reached their duty points. A total of 121 personnel departed from Police Constabulary Farooqabad for their native station Rajanpur, while 160 personnel were headed to Rahim Yar Khan. Of these, 25 personnel disembarked early at Iqbalabad Interchange due to a longer route, while others disembarked at Zahir Pir as their homes were nearby. Punjab Police Spokesperson said that all personnel have reported for duty at their respective stations and are happy to return to their native areas from the PC. DPO Rahim Yar Khan Rizwan Umar Gondal said that the reports about personnel disembarking early from the PC headquarters and not reporting for duty in Kacha are baseless and contrary to the facts. All personnel from Punjab Constabulary Farooqabad in Rahim Yar Khan district are present at their duties. He strongly refuted the false news regarding the absence of constables from their duties. Punjab Police is fully engaged in combating criminals in Kacha with full force. DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal further emphasized that the protection of lives and property of the public in Kacha is being ensured, the rule of law and state authority will be maintained at all costs, and the mission to eradicate criminal elements will continue until Kacha criminals are eliminated.
