Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that the timely resolution of problems faced by police employees and their families is among the top priorities. IG Punjab instructed all supervisory officers to maintain close contact with the subordinate force and provide immediate relief for any kind of issues they face. He expressed these views during a meeting with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office today. IG Punjab listened to the requests of the employees and issued directives to resolve their issues.
According to details, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed Additional IG Investigation Punjab to provide relief on the request of retired DSP Sajjad Hassan Mehdi for reappointment as Inspector. He also issued instructions to Commandant Lahore Training College, Mahboob Aslam Lillah, on the application of Constable Imran Elahi’s wife for immediate relief. IG Punjab forwarded the reappointment request of retired Sargodha Inspector Legal, Umar Daraz, to the Additional IG Investigation. Dr. Usman Anwar directed AIG Admin & security to provide relief on the promotion request of Special Branch Junior Clerk, Muhammad Yaseen. IG Punjab directed DIG Establishment-II to provide relief on the promotion request of Sargodha ASI, Muhammad Mumtaz, after refixation his seniority. Similarly, IG Punjab instructed the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief on the promotion request of Rahim Yar Khan Police Sub-Inspector, Abdul Mannan. IG Punjab also issued directives on requests related to discipline, administration, welfare, and other matters.
