Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has continued his priority initiatives for the welfare of the police force and their families by releasing an additional PKR 2.4 million for the medical treatment of brave officers injured in the line of duty. According to the details PKR 1 million were released for treatment of Constable Muhammad Salman Asghar of Sialkot Head Constable Ashfaq Ahmad from Lahore has been awarded PKR 700,000 for his medical expenses, while Constable Muhammad Zafarullah has received PKR 300,000. Additionally, Constable Muhammad Asif from Rawalpindi has been granted PKR 300,000, and ASI Qamar Abbas has been allocated PKR 100,000 for his treatment. These officers sustained injuries while confronting criminal elements during their professional duties. The approval for these funds was given in a meeting chaired by the Additional IG Welfare and Finance. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, emphasized that the top priority is the excellent treatment and swift recovery of these brave officers. Supervisory officers are directed to ensure the best health care and welfare for these injured personnel.
