Lahore:Under the supervision of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are actively engaged in delivering digital services to the citizens. Every month, millions of citizens across the province, including Lahore, are being facilitated to benefit from more than a dozen policing services at Khidmat Marakaz. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that over 1.846 million citizens have utilized services from the centers during this year. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, more than 518,000 citizens have obtained character certificates, over 835,000 have undergone general police verification, 4,184 citizens have had police verification for private employees, and over 138,000 have registered for tenancy agreements. Additionally, over 19,000 citizens have completed vehicle verification, and more than 118,000 have acquired medico-legal certificates. These centers have also handled over 58,000 cases of document loss registration and 4,211 crime reports. More than 79,000 citizens have received copies of FIRs, and 178 reports of women’s violence have been registered. As part of ongoing efforts to protect vulnerable populations, legal and social protection has been provided to over 67,000 individuals, and 1,273 citizens have registered as employees (ROPE). IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Khidmat Marakaz is an outstanding service delivery project and Police will enhance its performance based on feedback received from the citizens.
