ISLAMABAD:IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a high-level meeting regarding the security of the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit” held in Islamabad. Islamabad police will use all its resources to provide full security to all delegations. According to the details, the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization” held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. A high-level meeting was held regarding the security of the summit, the meeting was attended by DIG Security Jawad Tariq and other senior police officers. Issued orders, IG Islamabad said that to make the security of foreign delegations effective, the modern system of Safe City Islamabad should be fully utilized, all entrances and exits of the high security zone should be sealed and fresh. Troops should be deployed, search and rescue operations should be continued in the communities located around the red zone, all important roads should be completely closed during movement and alternative routes should be taken at various intersections keeping in mind the convenience of the public. He added that the Islamabad Police will use all its resources to provide full security to all the delegations and ensure all possible efforts to uphold the national dignity and identity.
