Islamabad: An important meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa regarding the transformation of Islamabad into a digital city. In the meeting, Member Technology gave a detailed briefing about the various initiatives to enable the best services to the residents through modern digitized solutions to the basic infrastructure of the city. The meeting was informed that a smart parking system has been launched in Islamabad. . B. Digital sign boards have been started to be displayed. Similarly, My Islamabad Super App is also being launched soon. Through this app, more than 150 facilities related to CDA, MCI, ICT and Police will be provided to the citizens of Islamabad sitting at their homes. Chairman CDA emphasized the need to include the facilities of NADRA and other institutions in this app. Chairman CDA also directed to take third party cyber security measures to protect user data. The meeting was informed that digital parking system has been successfully launched at G-8 and Centaurus Mall. Chairman CDA directed to start digital parking system in other important centers to deal with parking challenges. The progress on IT Park project was also reviewed in the meeting. The meeting was informed that it has been decided to build an IT park in the gray structure located in Sector G-10. Renovation of this gray structure will provide co-working spaces, research and development centers, data centers and other facilities, which will create more than 4,000 jobs. The Chairman directed to ensure the early appointment of a transactional advisor for the project. While further briefing the meeting, it was informed that digital streamers introduced for the first time in the city with digital operating system will be handed over to Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI). The construction of Tier 4 data center in Yating was also discussed. Chairman CDA Mohammad Ali Randhawa directed to speed up the consultation process to complete this project and ensure the timely establishment of this important data infrastructure. The meeting also discussed the implementation of e-office system in CDA. Considered. Chairman CDA emphasized the importance of digitizing internal workflows to enhance service delivery. In the meeting, the establishment of Silicon Valley was also discussed. Chairman CDA was informed that CDA with the support of Quaid-i-Azam University (QUA) is working on demarcation of land for the project as well as options for alternative sites. The meeting also reviewed the progress made on the process of digitizing land and property records of CDA. The meeting was informed that so far 35000 files have been digitized. The meeting was told that staff training has been completed to facilitate property related services.
