According to the details, this year 01 lakh 896 wanted criminals were arrested in various crimes across the province, 17704 of A category and 83192 of B category are included among those arrested, more than 55 thousand court fugitives were also arrested. 5021 A category and 51778 B category fugitives are included, more than 26 thousand target offenders (habitual criminals) were also arrested during operations, including 11397 A category and 14957 B category target offenders, 84 wanted in serious crimes. More than 57,000 criminals were arrested in Lahore, including 21,393 advertising criminals, 25,801 judicial fugitives and 11,240 target offenders (habitual criminals). ) are included. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar commended the police teams for the successful operations and ordered to intensify the crackdown. IG Punjab said that the cases should be completed quickly by effective investigation and punishment should be given to the criminals, RPOs, DPOs should monitor crackdown and targeted operations against dangerous criminals.
