Lahore :Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, continues to take priority measures for the health welfare of police employees and their families. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that RPOs and DPOs should maintain close contact with their subordinates and provide full support in health welfare matters. IG Punjab has issued an additional 1.8 million rupees for the treatment of police employees and their families serving in Lahore and other districts.
According to the details Sub-Inspector Najam ul Sittar Akhtar of Lahore was allocated 500,000 rupees for cancer treatment; ASI Muzammil Hussain received 250,000 rupees for his wife’s treatment; ASI Amir Bilal and Head Constable Muhammad Adil each received 150,000 rupees for their wives’ tumor treatments; Constable Zafar Khan was given 125,000 rupees for his wife’s treatment; ASI Tauqeer-ul-Hassan from Rawalpindi received 100,000 rupees for minor surgery; ASI Muhammad Irfan from Multan was allocated 100,000 rupees for heart disease treatment; Constable Waris Ali received 100,000 rupees for kidney treatment; Driver Constable Mirza Akhtar Rafiq was given 100,000 rupees for kidney stone treatment, Sub-Inspector Hamad-ul-Hasan Zafar received 100,000 rupees for blood cancer treatment; ASI Shahid Manzoor received 75,000 rupees for his son’s treatment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the disbursement of these funds following the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar also mentioned that through Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with various institutions, modern medical facilities are being provided to employees.
