Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, paid a heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of the APS Peshawar incident on the completion of 10 years. Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police salutes the teachers, students, and all the martyrs who embraced martyrdom in the APS Peshawar incident. Dr. Usman Anwar further stated that he also pays tribute to the courage and determination of the families of the APS martyrs. IG Punjab emphasized that the APS Peshawar tragedy united the Pakistani nation in the fight against terrorism, and the memory of the incident remains fresh in our hearts. Punjab Police will ensure that the sacrifices of the APS martyrs are never in vain. Dr. Usman Anwar affirmed that the ruthless terrorists, extremists, and those involved in terrorism will be eradicated, and Punjab Police will remain tirelessly dedicated to thwarting the nefarious intentions of the enemies of the nation’s peace and future.
