NA proceedings adjourned due to incomplete quorum

ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Monday adjourned the House proceedings due to an incomplete quorum during the Question Hour.

The quorum was pointed out by Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) member Mehboob Shah while State Minister for Finance and Revenue, Ali Pervaiz Malik was responding to a question posed by MNA Asia Naz Tanoli.

Following the quorum call, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq asked for a headcount. After receiving the numbers, he announced, “The House is not in order,” and subsequently adjourned the session until the quorum was met.
