ISLAMABAD: IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a high-level meeting at Safe City Islamabad. According to details, a high level meeting was held at Central Police Office Islamabad under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Zavi. DG Safe City Shakir Hussain Dawar, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and other senior police officers were present on the occasion. Addressing the officers, IG Islamabad said that tough measures were being taken during the struggle in the federal capital. Sacrifice rest and sleep for the safety of the people, ensure the security of places of worship, markets, commercial centers and other important places, keep a close watch on suspicious elements and tighten security of all police officers according to the current situation. The arrest of the accused involved in robbery and other crimes should be ensured and actions against drug dealers should be intensified in the continuation of the Drug No Movement. At the same time, the system of surveillance and monitoring should be improved across the city, officers should be available to the citizens at all times and be in touch with the citizens through open courts. Protection of property and providing them with every facility is the top priority of Islamabad Police.
