Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz became a supreme example of transparency in governance. Anti-Corruption Punjab has arrested a corrupt officer in the Planning and Development Department after taking immediate action on a complaint of corruption to make the province corruption-free under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. A case was registered against P&D Board Assistant Chief Industries Muhammad Ahmed Maflah-ur-Rehman and investigation was started. The accused is accused of taking a bribe of lakhs of rupees under the pretext of including schemes in the annual development programme.
