Gujranwala: Anti-Corruption conducted a joint raid, arrested 2 patwaris for bogus transfer of valuable land. The operation was carried out under the supervision of DG Anti-Corruption Punjab Sohail Zafar Chatha and on the instructions of Director Anti-Corruption Gujranwala Division Amjad Shahzad. It has been reported that Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Gujrat Muhammad Afzal Gujjar along with his team conducted a raid and arrested Patwari Mureed Abbas and Patwari Mehndi Hassan. Assistant Director Anti-Corruption Rana Shabbir Ashraf said that the patwaris are accused of transferring the land of the plaintiff in the case, Fazal Hussain, in Garha Habib through bogus transfers. Forgery in official records and damage to the government treasury is an irreparable crime which cannot be allowed at all.
