Lahore:An important video link meeting was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar. The meeting reviewed the performance of Police Khidmat Marakaz, Traffic Licensing & Driving Training Centers, and the implementation of protocols at Special Initiative Police Stations. Additional IG Welfare & Finance Imran Irshad, Additional IG Traffic Punjab Mirza Farhan Baig, SSP Traffic Headquarters, AIG Finance, AIG Admin, and Director Audit along with other senior officers participated in the meeting. RPO Sheikhupura Athar Ismail Amjad, RPO Sargodha Dr. Shahzad Asif Khan, and the concerned DPOs also attended via video link.
IG Punjab, while directing improvements in facilities at all police service centers, said that the quality of services at the centers should be further enhanced so that citizens can benefit more from police services. He instructed to take steps to upgrade Driving Licensing Centers and Driving Training Schools. Measures should be implemented to train as many citizens as possible at the police driving training schools. The core protocols of Special Initiative Police Stations must be implemented in letter and spirit. IG Punjab said that children of police martyrs, students of educational institutions, and people from various walks of life should be facilitated to visit Khidmat Marakaz. Smart Police Stations and Safe Cities Projects must be completed within the set timelines. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the scope of welfare projects should be expanded for the optimal well-being of the police force and the families of police martyrs. RPOs and DPOs must conduct regular inspections of Police Khidmat Marakaz, Driving Licensing & Training Centers, and Special Initiative Police Stations.
