World Police Summit Recognized the Excellent Services of Punjab Police Special Operations Cell

Lahore:Due to the outstanding performance of Punjab Police Special Operations Cell in arresting dangerous proclaimed offenders who had fled abroad, the World Police Summit recognized the excellent services of the Punjab Police Special Operations Cell. Dubai Police Chief Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Obaid Al Marri presented a special award to Inspector Khalid Waryah, In-Charge Special Operations Cell.

Dubai Police Chief highly appreciated Inspector Khalid Waryah for his exceptional performance in apprehending criminals wanted for serious crimes. Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Obaid Al Marri remarked that there exists excellent coordination and bilateral cooperation between Punjab and Dubai Police for combating criminal elements. The professional excellence of Punjab Police in arresting criminals who committed serious crimes and fled to the UAE and other countries is commendable. The spokesperson of Punjab Police shared that during the World Police Summit 2025 ceremony held at the World Trade Centre Dubai, three officers of Punjab Police were honored with awards. Through the Punjab Police Special Operations Cell, 269 proclaimed offenders wanted in serious crimes and fleeing abroad were arrested and brought back to Pakistan over the past two years.
