ISLAMABAD,:Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has continued its series of search and combing operations in Noon and other areas of the capital to curb crime and apprehend criminal elements.A public relations officer told APP on Sunday that Islamabad Police teams conducted a grand search and combing operation under the supervision of SP Industrial Area in different localities within the jurisdiction of Noon Police Station.During the operation, 50 individuals, 15 shops and hotels, 45 houses, and 38 vehicles were thoroughly inspected.He said eight suspicious individuals were taken to the police station for verification purposes.Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, stated that the purpose of the search operation is to tighten the noose around criminal elements and enhance security across the city.DIG further said that search operations are being conducted in various areas of Islamabad and that the Capital Police remains committed to taking indiscriminate action against criminals, land grabbers, and drug dealers.
