LAHORE:On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are engaged in providing digital services to citizens, in continuation of which more than 1.559 million citizens have received policing services from the Police Khidmat Marakaz so far this year. Punjab Police spokesperson shared the details that more than 702,000 citizens underwent general police verification while more than 382,000 citizens obtained police character certificates. More than 180,000 citizens registered for tenancy. More than 75,000 citizens obtained medico legal certificates. Punjab Police spokesperson said that under the ongoing measures for the weaker sections, more than 60,000 people were provided with legal and social security. 19,000 citizens underwent vehicle verification. More than 39,000 citizens registered documents for loss, 2,239 crime reports were registered, more than 77,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs and 21 women violence reports were registered. More than 17,000 citizens underwent employee registration (ROPE). 1,505 citizens underwent police verification for private jobs. IG Punjab said that Khidmat Marakaz are a wonderful flagship project of public service delivery where facilities are being provided to the citizens 24/7. Millions of citizens across the province including Lahore are benefiting from the facilities of Police Khidmat Marakaz every month. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the services are being further upgraded in the light of the feedback of the citizens.
