IGP Rizvi visits Security Division, Safe City Islamabad

ISLAMABAD:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the Security Division and Safe City Command and Control Center to review progress on ongoing development projects.A public relations officer told APP on Thursday that SSP Security Division Muhammad Sarfraz Virk and Chief Traffic Officer (CTO)  Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider briefed the IGP in detail about various ongoing projects, including the “Cascade” system. IGP Rizvi directed officials to ensure timely completion of all development initiatives under the Security Division. IGP Rizvi also visited the Safe City Command and Control Center, where Director General Safe City Shakir Hussain Dawar briefed him on the system’s technical capabilities, rapid response mechanisms, and its role in crime prevention. IGP Rizvi appreciated the performance of the Safe City team and directed officials to take further steps to enhance the system’s overall effectiveness.
