IG Rizvi reviews performance, urges focus on habitual criminals

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police Inspector General (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reviewed the performance of police officers at the Central Police Office Islamabad.An official told APP on Sunday that IG Rizvi met with SSP Operations, SP Industrial Area, SDPOs, and police teams who solved high-value cases. IG appreciated their performance and announced commendation certificates and cash rewards for all officers and personnel.On this occasion, IG Rizvi said all officers should play their full role in combating criminal elements and protecting the lives and property of citizens. He emphasized that officers must ensure the arrest of court absconders, proclaimed offenders, and habitual criminals.IG Rizvi said that, by the grace of God, Islamabad Police had successfully solved all major cases. He noted that all ongoing challenges and issues were effectively overcome. He directed officers to ensure timely resolution of citizens’ problems, especially during difficult times, adding that “the hopes of the people of this city rest with you.”IG Rizvi instructed all officers to ensure the arrest of suspects in all pending cases and advised that their duties should be performed as an act of worship. He also stressed the importance of experienced officers training newly deployed personnel.In conclusion, the IG Rizvi reaffirmed that Islamabad Police will utilize all available resources to make the federal capital a safe and peaceful city and will continue to serve the public with full dedication and effort.
