Punjab Police is actively engaged against organized gangs across the province including Lahore. While sharing the details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police shared that during the past 24 hours, 32 operatives of 15 gangs have been arrested. From the possession of the accused, 126 weapons including Kalashnikovs, pistols, rifles, revolvers, and shotguns, along with hundreds of bullets, were recovered.He further shared that 29 stolen motorcycles, 31 mobile phones, 2 tolas of gold, and cash amounting to 2 million rupees were also recovered from the possession of the accused. The spokesperson said that during actions against criminal elements, 2 criminals were brought to justice, 9 were injured, and 7 were arrested. Inspector General of Punjab Police has directed that operations against criminal elements should continue with full momentum.
