ISLAMABAD:Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) — Islamabad Police teams from Sumbal, Khanna, Kirpa, and Lohi Bher police stations arrested 13 accused involved in various criminal activities on Sunday.A police spokesperson told APP that the teams recovered 528 grams of hashish, 770 grams of heroin, 125 grams of ice, 60 bottles of wine, seven pistols with ammunition, and daggers from the suspects’ possession.Cases have been registered against the arrested individuals, and further investigations were underway.He said that during a special campaign launched for the arrest of proclaimed offenders and absconders, various police teams also apprehended five criminals.He said that following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police continues its effective crackdown against crime and criminal elements to ensure peace and tranquility in the federal capital.He said that Islamabad Police is committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and will not allow any elements to disturb public peace. Ensuring law and order remains the top priority of the force.
