LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Saturday extended her heartfelt congratulations to renowned Pakistani cueist Mohammad Asif for winning the World Snooker Championship title in the Masters category.In her message,the CM commended his remarkable performance saying that Mohammad Asif has brought pride to the nation by defeating his Indian opponent with exceptional skill, determination, and perseverance.“Mohammad Asif’s victory is a testament to his hard work and commitment, and a proud moment for the entire country,”she said.“By securing the world title,he has elevated Pakistan’s status on the international sports stage.”
