ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police launched a large-scale search and combing operation in the  Sabzi Mandi area, checking dozens of individuals, vehicles, homes, and businesses in a determined push to restore public confidence and safety.A police spokesman told APP on Sunday that the operation, conducted within the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi Police Station, resulted in the inspection of 72 individuals, 34 houses, seven shops, 17 motorcycles, and four vehicles.He said four suspicious individuals were taken into custody and shifted to the police station for verification.He said Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq noted that such operations aim to tighten the grip on criminal networks and reinforce public security.He said search and combing operations are underway in various sectors of the district and the Islamabad Police will continue indiscriminate action against outlaws, land mafias, and drug dealers.
