Lahore:On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a ceremony for pinning promotion ranks of officers promoted to the rank of Inspector was held at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar pinned the ranks of Inspector on the promoted officers. 60 police officers from Gujranwala and Sargodha regions were pinned with promotion ranks. The ceremony was attended in large numbers by the parents, children, and families of the promoted officers. IG Punjab said that in the upcoming promotion boards, the RPOs of the respective regions will also participate. The promoted officers should maintain effective contact with the constabulary, resolve their issues, and work on their grooming. With the establishment of new police units including CCD, Riot Management Police, thousands of new posts and promotions became possible. IG Punjab said that we are sincerely grateful to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and the Government of Punjab for their full support of Punjab Police. Chief Minister Punjab has provided full assistance for the human resources, logistics, infrastructure, and transport of the police. Through the establishment of the Provincial Tourism Police and the Cybercrime Department, hundreds of new posts have been created and more promotions will follow. There is zero tolerance for corruption and misconduct, and officers should serve citizens with the best attitude. In return for promotions, welfare, and motivation, ensure selfless service to Pakistanis. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIGs Establishment One and Two, AIGs, SPs, and SDPOs also attended the ceremony.
