Punjab Police active against organized gangs across the province

Lahore:Punjab Police are actively pursuing action against organized gangs across the province, including Lahore. As part of this campaign, during the last 24 hours, 30 members of 12 gangs were arrested. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, said that from the possession of the accused, 95 weapons including Kalashnikovs, pistols, rifles, revolvers, and shotguns, along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition, were recovered.From the possession of the accused, 03 vehicles, 15 motorcycles, 17 mobile phones, 05 cattle, and cash amounting to 1 million rupees were also recovered. The spokesperson of Punjab Police further shared that during these operations, 257 proclaimed offenders, 84 court absconders, and 25 habitual criminals were arrested. In actions against criminal elements, 05 criminals were killed while 10 were arrested in injured condition. Inspector General of Punjab Police has directed to continue operations against criminals with greater speed.
