ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired an important meeting on Safe City Islamabad and planning and development initiatives to further enhance security and modernize police operations in the federal capital.An official told APP on Sunday that the meeting was attended by Director General (DG) Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya, SSP Security, AIG Logistics, Director Special Initiatives, and Assistant Director Planning & Development.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the effective use of modern technology in the Safe City project, foolproof security measures, logistical requirements of the police, and new development projects aimed at providing better services to citizens.Strategies to improve police performance, enhance professional skills, and raise the standard of public service were also discussed in detail.IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reaffirmed that Islamabad Police is fully committed to utilizing technology, modern planning, and administrative reforms in line with contemporary needs to make the federal capital safer and more peaceful.He emphasized that the welfare of police personnel and the protection of citizens’ lives and property remain among the top priorities of the Islamabad Police.
