Punjab Police committed to ensuring the best health welfare for the children of its employees

Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to ensuring the best health welfare for the children of police employees across Lahore and other districts of the province. Continuing these efforts, the IG Punjab has released Rs. 3.584 million in funds for the treatment of children suffering from critical diseases. Sharing details, the spokesperson for Punjab Police said that ASI Azam Ali was granted Rs. 1.66 million for his daughter’s cochlear implant surgery. Naib Qasid Muhammad Zafar received Rs. 500,000 for his son’s blood cancer treatment. DSP Muhammad Awais Qarni was granted Rs. 300,000 for his daughter’s lung disease treatment. Similarly, Traffic Warden Shahid Mehmood received Rs. 250,000 for his son’s respiratory illness treatment, while Constable Waqas Ahmed was provided Rs. 250,000 for his son’s head and leg injury treatment. Sub-Inspector Tasawar Hussain, Constable Amjad Raza, and the wife of martyred Constable Muhammad Niaz were collectively granted Rs. 250,000 for the medical treatment of their children. Furthermore, Junior Clerk Lateef-ur-Rehman, Constable Yasir, and Constable Nauman Akhtar were collectively granted Rs. 206,000 for their children’s medical treatment. In addition, Head Constable Babar Hussain, Constable Muhammad Rafiq, and Constable Muhammad Amraiz received a total of Rs. 168,000 for the treatment of their children. IG Punjab released these funds after scrutiny and approval by the Welfare Management Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the welfare of the families of police personnel, who dedicate their lives to protecting the lives and properties of citizens, remains a top priority for Punjab Police.
