Lahore:The Lahore Anti-Corruption Court decided to indict former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and other accused and summoned them for indictment on November 6. The court also called for arguments on the acquittal applications of Pervaiz Elahi’s co-accused. Anti-Corruption Court Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich issued a written order of the previous hearing, in which it was said that the prosecutor objected to Pervaiz Elahi’s request for a one-day exemption from attendance. According to the prosecution, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi did not appear at the previous hearing either. The written order said that the prosecutor said that no indictment has been filed in this case yet.
