UBG announces package of incentives for the flood effected trade bodies

KARACHI: United Business Group(UBG) leadership Patron-in-Chief SM Munir, President Zubair Tufail, Chairman Shehzad Ali Malik, General Secretary Zafar Bakhtawari, Chairman Sindh Region Khalid Twab and other leaders said that has unanimously decided to facilitate the flood effected trade bodies and their members.
In a statement UBG leadership said that the devastating rains across Pakistan have badly affected the business and economic activities of Pakistan. UBG is well aware of the hardships and financial constraints of the trade bodies and their members particularly of Balochistan, Interior Sindh, South Punjab and other rural areas of all provinces.
They announced that UBG InshaAlla after winning the FPCCI election 2023 will facilitate the legitimate trade bodies and their members of the flood effected areas with the following package of incentives for the year 2023: Waiver of FPCCI annual subscription fee to all legitimate trade bodies of Balochistan,and other flood effected rural areas for the year 2023; UBG will exempt all legitimate Women CCI and Small CCI from FPCCI Annual subscription fee 2023; UBG will give FPCCI membership book complimentary to all legitimate trade bodies of Balochistan, WCCI and Small CCI and the Trade Bodies situated in flood affected areas; UBG will facilitate the members of trade bodies situated in flood affected areas, Members of WCCI and Small CCI by giving 50 percent waiver on account of subscription of FPCCI business councils with different countries for the 2023; UBG will facilitate the trade bodies of flood affected areas, WCCI and Small CCI to conduct their meetings and events in FPCCI office premises free of charge; On the recommendation of trade bodies of flood affected areas, WCCI and Small CCI their members will be issued visa recommendation letters without fee; Members of trade bodies of flood effected areas, WCCI and Small CCI will be exempted from FPCCI participation fee for international trade fairs & exhibitions and trade delegations 2023; On the recommendation of trade bodies of flood effected areas their one leading exporter or any member who has made exceptional efforts in any sector will be considered for selection in FPCCI achievement award; Members of the trade bodies of flood effected areas , WCCI and Small CCI will be exempted from Annual membership fee of standing committees of FPCCI for 2023; Members of WCCI will be recommended for free of cost participation in WEXNET and other trade fairs to be organised by TDAP; and UBG will arrange vocational/professional trainings of the members of trade bodies of rural areas.
