ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (NNI): In a fresh tirade against rivals, former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has described the chief election commissioner as dishonest and biased.
The chief election commissioner should have ethically resigned after the audio leaks, Imran Khan said while talking to a journalist at a meeting in Islamabad.
He said: “Audio leaks proved the connection between collusion between PML-N and the election commission. I will not appear before the election commission in any case. I am afraid of doing something that will send me to jail.
“The election commissioner is a tool of political engineers. He had done delimitations on the orders of PML-N. He played a central role in stopping the EVMs. Overseas Pakistanis are being kept away from the political process.”
